Elegant autumn wedding inspiration at its finest. A day to remember. The Autumn Elegance Styled Shoot at Brickhouse Vineyard was such a wonderful experience - the venue is an incredible wedding location in South Devon and we got to work with such a fantastic team of fellow suppliers on this photoshoot.

Sangria typically reminds us of summertime in Spain. For Nick and I, it reminds us very specifically of a delicious dinner in a locally ran restaurant situated down a side street of Barcelona, one hot evening in July 2012.

When we discovered ‘autumn sangria’ was a thing, therefore, we were quite dubious of whether it would work.

Autumnal and celebratory, this glass of fall fizz looks as special as it tastes. For those who like to add a little something to their fizz, I think this cocktail would make a perfect autumn alternative to a mimosa.

The flavours are delicate, not overpowering, and if you’ve got a cocktail stick to hand at the end then plum slices are yummy too!

This recipe has whiskey in it, but trust me, even if you aren’t a whiskey drinker (I am not!), if you like blackberry and honey flavours, then you will still love this cocktail! If you are a whiskey drinker, then you may prefer this cocktail with a standard whiskey rather than honey flavoured one, it will give it more of a whiskey bite and be slightly less sweet.

I would recommend making a larger batch of the blackberry honey syrup because trust me you’ll want more than one of these! Just multiply the syrup recipe to make more.

If you’ve seen our other autumn cocktail recipes, then you’ll know I said how addicted I am to the blackberry honey bourbon smash, but, this cocktail may possibly even trump that one.

I love a cosmo, and I think there is something really comso-esque about this one, but with an autumn, sloe gin twist, so if you love a cosmo too, then I think you’re going to like this one as much as me!

We are massively inspired by the nature around us, what’s in season and how we can incorporate that into our drinks. From picking blackberries from our field hedgerows to filling baskets with fresh apples and plums, there is something so satisfying about the harvest season.

This rhubarb gin cocktail has some Moscow Mule vibes with its ginger, lime, and mint, but the rhubarb gin gives it a special twist, so if you like a Moscow Mule, and you love anything rhubarb flavoured (like me), you’re going to love this one!

I’m not sure this one really needs any introduction, the name says it all. Delicious sweet and fizzy, this cocktail is truly scrumptious. It also makes a fantastic wedding welcome drink on a warm summer’s day.

Summer and early Autumn are all about sipping light, refreshing drinks outside in the early evening sunshine, and this Apple Gin Spritz is perfect for just that.

This cocktail is easy drinking and deliciously sweet but with the cut-through from the apple and lemon to balance it out. We’ve recommended 25ml of gin but you could go 50ml if you prefer something stronger, and you can also customise yours with the choice of either Prosecco or tonic to top up with.
